Username

If logging on for the first time, you will see that your 4 digit operator ID is shown here. You MUST replace this operator ID with a username for use on IQ Connect

Your username can be alphanumeric, containing up to a maximum of 24 characters. We recommend entering a username that reflects your name, for example john.smith, johnsmith or jsmith. Your username cannot be changed once entered and saved.

Please note that your username is case sensitive, so we recommend keeping a note of your username in a safe place if you decide to use both upper and lower case letters in your username. Please use your new username when logging on to IQ Connect in the future. You will no longer require your 4 digit operator ID.

If you have already created a username, it will be displayed in "My Profile" for your information only and cannot be changed.

4 Digit Oper ID

This is the ID that you were provided with to log in to IQ Connect for the first time, (for example 3ZBS - you also may have used this operator ID to log on to our original site at services.au.vedaadvantage.com). Once you have created a new username for use on this site, the 4 digit operator ID is no longer available for use on IQ Connect and is shown in "My Profile" for your information only.

Business Units

If logging in to IQ Connect for the first time then you must select a business unit from this list. This list will show all of the business units within your organisations that you are able to perform enquiries on behalf of.  In traditional terms, this is the subscriber branch that you belong to. Usually you will only find one business unit on this list. If you do require access on behalf of multiple business units, please contact us.

Password Details

If you are logging on to IQ Connect for the first time, then you will be required to enter a new password.

If you would like to change your password, you may enter your old password, followed by a new password and confirmation.

Your password can be a minimum of 8 characters and a maximum of 15 characters. Your password must contain at least one character from three of the four types of characters - uppercase, lowercase, numeric, and symbol.Your password is case sensitive. Your username will be revoked if you enter your password incorrectly three times in a row.

Verification Question and Answer

This is for future use if you forget your password. If forgotten, you will be prompted with your password question, and if you supply your password answer correctly you will be issued with a new temporary password. We would recommend using a personal information related question that only you are likely to know the answer to.

If logging on to IQ Connect for the first time, you must enter the question and answer.

Business Unit Preferences

Company File Preferences

A Company File contains recent ASIC information. In addition it is enhanced with a business name summary and an indication of any adverse information held on the Equifax database. Company Files offer the most up-to-date commercial information at the best possible price. When an ASIC Extract is requested you may be offered the option of receiving the Company File. If you do not wish to be offered this option and always receive the ASIC Extract, then check the Company File Preference check box on the My Profile page.

If this setting is greyed out then the selected setting has been enforced for all users within your business unit (or all related business units) at the request of your organisation's management. If you would like to enforce or change an enforced setting for users within your business unit you should contact us.
